How can I be happy in difficult situations

I come from a disadvantaged family. My father was a teacher in a small village. As for mother, she is a housewife. Because the financial situation at home is quite bad. So I want to work to support my family.

At work, I was diligent and determined to get a high position. I saved up enough money to open a small shop. To be able to support the family and send the younger ones to school.

I enjoy “Successful” because it gave me everything I wanted.
But... I don't know why I'm really unhappy even though I have everything I want.

The higher my position, The competition is only getting fiercer. I'm worried that I won't meet my sales target. I had to work overtime to make up the balance. At that time...both my body and mind felt more and more tired and weak.

Later...I encountered a huge financial crisis. The declining economy caused my sales to plummet. The company encountered problems and had to lay off employees. I am the one who was laid off! As for my shop, I had to close down due to losses!

Oh....How can I be happy in this difficult situation?

In this difficult time So I try to look for guidance from Allah. I returned to study the teachings of Islam. Ustaz told me...

“Those who believe And their hearts are calmed by the remembrance of Allah. Know that it is only by the remembrance of Allah. Calms the mind.” Quran 13:28

So I du'ah and read the Quran regularly, but... my mind was still not at peace. I still feel overwhelmed by the problems I am facing!

When I read a Surah
“Allah is generous and narrow in means of sustenance. to whom He wills... Verily, Allah causes astray whom He wills. and guides to Him those who are conscious... Those who believe and do good Happiness is theirs. And it is a very good return.” Qur'an 13:26-29

Many questions popped up in my mind...
Am I someone that Allah wishes to bless?
Does Allah intend for me to go astray?
What if I can't work my religion's rules to be happy?

Ustaz gave me a lot of encouragement. He said, “As humans we have to do our best and submit to Allah.” But… I was still worried.

One day... I had the opportunity to contact a friend whose business also collapsed due to the economic crisis. Plus, the bride who was about to get married asked to cancel the wedding again. His life had been rocked so many times that now... he was able to recover. Found a new lover and are about to get married

I asked him, “What made you settle so quickly?”

He replied:
“I got to know Isa Al-Masih, and he gave me strength. In Injil it is said that “Those who work hard and are weary Come to us. I will give you relief and comfort” (Injeel, Matthew 11:28).

When I believed in Isa Al-Masih, I felt a different kind of happiness. It is calm and feels stronger. This is what allowed me to overcome difficulties.”

I was shocked by his answer. “Is it really this simple? And if we have made many mistakes Will he still comfort us?”

He replied, “Of course! He will surely give us peace and happiness. Because He loves us so much.”

I decided to follow the Messiah. After that...I was able to find peace in my heart through Him.

I understand that “The wealth of this world, the greed, and the success of this world are very temporary.” These things do not make us truly happy.

And you... Have you found true happiness like this yet?
